1. Un kannil neer vizhunthal,

Yen nenjil uthiram kottuthadi,

Yen kannin pavai andro-kannamma,

Yen uyir ninnathandro?

1,If  tears  flow from your eyes,

Blood pours out of my heart,

Are you not my eyeballs –Oh darling,

Is not my soul yours?

2. Unnai karam pidithen-

Vazhkkai oli mayamanathadi,

Ponnai mananthathanal  -

SAbayil  pugazhum valarnthathadi.

My life  became filled   with light,

Due to getting married to gold  ,

My fame  in the halls   went on growing.

There are relations for the words that   we talk ,
