1. Ellam nadaka medai-athil,

Engum nadigar kootam  ,

Uruvam therivathu  pol-aar,

Ullam therivathu illai.

1.Every thing is a drama stage ,

There is a crowd of actors everywhere,

Just like their form is visible,

Their  heart is not visible.

2.Parppathai ariyen , parka vaithaye,

Paal pol manathai   keduthaval neeye,

Paduvatharien pada vaithaye,

Padalai pathiyil nee mudithaye  ,

2.I did not how to see but you made me see,

You were the one who spoiled my milk like mind,

I did not know how to sing and you made me sing,

And you put an end to the song in the middle.

3.Vedikkai ulagam   chelvargal illam,

Vedanai ulagam   , ezhaigal ullam,

Theriya nilayil  thozhiyum rani ,

THerinthu vittal aval  Raniyin thozhi

3.The homes of rich is a funny place,

The heart of the poor is the painful world,
