Chinnaiah  -naam,

Kan kalangi kavalai pattu,

Yennaiah?

Nalu pakkam vasalundu .

Chinnaiah , athil ,

Namakku oru vazhi illayaa.

Yennaiah?

1,The lady of time would open her eyes,

Oh Chinnaiah

What is the use  of our eyes becoming  tred,

And us getting worried, Sir?

2, Chinna china thunbamellam  ,

Yenna yenna koodumadaa,

Aavathellam aagattume ,

Amaithi kollada

2.The small , small   sorrows   would increase,

When we worry and worry,

Let all those  things to happen , get happened,

You better  become peaceful.

3.Oru pozhuthil thunbam varum,

Maru pozhuthil inbam  varum,

Irulinilum vazhi theriyum,

Yekkam yenada   thambi?

3.  one time sorrow would come  ,

At another time pleasure would come,

The way would be visible ,

Even if it is dark, Oh younger brother, why this worry?

4.Thookkam kollada,

Kallirukkum therai kkellam ,

Karunai thantha deivam ,

Kaniyirukkum vandukellam

Thunai iruntha deivam  .

Nellukkulle maniyai  ,

Neruppinile oliyai  ,

Ullukulle vaitha deivam,.

4.You better   sleep  .,

That God   who had helped,

The insect in side the stone,

That god who showed companionship,

Had kept  the rice in side the paddy  ,

And light in side the fire

6.Unakku illayaa  -thambi

Namakku illayaa

6.Dont you have it ,  younger  brother,
