1. Aalaya mani osayai naan ketten,

Arul mozhi koorum paravaigal oli ketten,

Un iraivan   avane, avane

Yena ppadum  mozhi ketten,

Un thalaivan avane, avane ,

Yennum  thayin mozhi ketten.

1.I heard the sound of the temple bell  ,

I heard the sound  of birds  telling words of grace  ,

Your god is he , is he,

I heard the language singing this,

Your leader is he , is he,

I heard   my mother’s sound like this.

2.Ilagum malai pozhidinile  -yen,

Iraivan vanthan  therinile,

Ezhayin illam yithu   yendran,

Yiru vizhiyale  maalaiyittan.

2, At the moving time   of evening  ,

My God came  in a chariot,

He told “This is a house of the poor “,

And I   garlanded   him with my two eyes.

3. Kadhal  koyil naduvinile  ,

Karunai  thevan madiyinile  ,

Yarum ariyaa  pozhuthinile  ,

Adaikkalam aanen   mudivinile
