1. Ettadukku maligayil,

Yethri vaitha yen thalaivan ,

Indru veru pattu nindaranadi.

2.My dear girl, my  hero who kept me

On  the eight storey mansion,

Is  today standing   separately.

2.Therodum vazhvil endru ,

Ododi vanthu yennai  ,

Porada vaithanadi-kannil,

Neeroda v ittanadi.

2.Coming to me  in the path of the chariot  ,

He came running  and made ,

Me undergio a struggle  and ,

Made   tears   flow   from my eyes.

3,Kayyalavu ullam vaithu ,

Kadal pol asai aithu ,

VIlayada chonnanadi-avane,

Vilayadi vittanadi

3.Keeping a mind of the size of the palm,

And keeping ocean like desire ,

He asked me to play and ,

Then he himself played  the play.

4.Kalangal ulla varai  ,

Kanniyargal aarkkum  intha ,

Kadhal vara  vendamadi-yenthan,

Kolam vara vendamadi.

4.As long as time is there ,

This love should not come,

To all maids and,

They should not become  like me.
