1. Iraivan ulagathai padaithanam,

Ezhmayai  avan thaan padaithaana?

Ezhayai  padaithavan avan endral,

Iraivan  enbavan yetharkkaga?

1.It seems the world was created by God,

Was he the one who created poverty?

If he is the one who  created the poor one,

What is the  need for that God?

2. Ponnagai anintha maligaikal ,

Punnagai maranthathu  man kudisaim

Pasi vara ange mathiraikal,

Pattiniyaal ingu yathiraigal,

Iru ver ulagam ithu yendral ,

Iraivan yenbavan yethakkaga?

2.The mansions  wearing golden ornaments,

The mud huts that  have forgotten to smile,

For getting hungry , there  they take tablets ,

And here   due to starvation journey of death,

If this are the  two different  worlds ,

What is the  need for that God?

 3,Uyare parakkum kathadi,

Udahvum  ezhai  nool pola,

Pattam pol avar pala palappar,

Nool pola ivar ilaithiruppar,

Iru ver iyakkam  ithu yendral,

Iraivan enbavan yetharkkaga?

3. The kite flies   very high ,

Helped by the string , like the poor one,

His life would be shining like that kite,

And just like thread    they would be thin ,

If these  are   two different movements,

What is the need   for that God?

4.Iraivan inge varavillai ,

Yenave naan  angu pogindren,

Varumai  muzhuvathum  theerntha pinne,

Marupadi oru naal naan varuven.

4.God did not come here,

And so I am going there,

After   the entire poverty is erased,

One day  , I would again come back.
