1. Kaintha chinayum meengalaagum,

Puthiya vellam vanthathum,

Chaintha maramum pasumayagum  ,

Puthiya vergal paainthathum.

1.Even dried  eggs   would become fishes ,

When the   new water  comes  ,

The fallen down tree   would become green ,

When new roots enter   the soil.

2.Nangu vedam  cholvathum,

OOmai kayam  kayame,

AAna pothum  penmayin ,

Adutha vaazhvum nyayame

All the four Vedas only tell ,

That even when  dumb wound  becomes a wound,

The new life    for a lady  is only just.

3.Thavaru cheithaal Akalikai,

Kadhayil kandom illaya,

Thavari cheithal yenpathaal  ,

Raman kakka villaya.

3,Ahalya    committed a mistake ,

Did we not see  it in the story,

And it was done due to her mistake,

Did not Rama   save her.

4.Udalin pavam neerile  ,

Udalum thane thollaye ,

Manathil paavam illayel  ,

Vazhvil paavam illaye.

4.The sin of the body is in the water,

Even this body remains troublesome,

If there  is no sin in the mind,

There  is no sin in the life.

5.Kalanthu chendraan  kallaye ,

Piranthu valarnthaan pillaye ,

Kadayai meendum   cholkiren ,

Karnan intha yellaye

5.He merged and then went away  like stone

And a baby was born,

I will tell again the story  ,

Karna is the    other end.

6,Vidhavaikkellam marumanam ,

Vizhunddhu vittai yenillai  ,

Pudumai kanda nattile  ,

Yenakku thaanaa vazhvillai

6.Remarrige   for all the widows,

If they fall , why it is not there,

In this land which saw modernity,

Am I the only one who does not have life.

7.Nadhi pirinthaal kollidam ,

Meendum chenthaal  kaaveri  ,

Naduvil thane srirangam  ,

Nanmai   theemai avanidam.

7.When the river splits it is Kollidam,

If it joins again it is cAuvery,

And is not Sri rangam in the middle ,

The good and bad are  only  with him.
