1. Ninaippathellam nadanthu vittal,

Deivam yethum illai,

Nadanthathaye ninaithirunthaal ,

Amaithi endrum illai

1.If every thing we think happens,

Then there I noGod  .

If we keep on thinking  about what happened,

There  would be no peace.

2.Mudintha kadhai thodarvathillai  ,

Iraivan yettinile  ,

THodarntha kadhai mudivathillai  ,

Manithan veetinile.

2. The story which has come and end,

Does not continue in the book  of God,

And the story which continues never ends,

In the house of man.

3.AAyiram vasam idhayam,-athil,

Ayiram ennangal udhayam  ,

Yaaro varuvaar, Yaro povaar,

Varuvathum povathum theriyathu.

3, The heart has thousand gates,

In that thousand thoughts arise,

Some one will come-some one will go,

WE do not notice the coming and going.

4.Oruvar mattum kudiyirunthaal ,

Thunbam yethum illai  ,

Ondru irukka ondru vanthaal  ,

Endrum amaithi  illai.

4.If one person only lives there,

Ther would not be any sorrow,

If one comes when one is already there ,

Always there would not be peace.

5.Enge vaazhkkai thodangun-athu,

Enge yevvidham mudiyum,

Ithu thaan padhai, ithu thaan payanam,

Yenbathu aarukkum theriyathu.

5. Where would life begin ,

Where and how it will end ,

This is the road, this is the journey ,

No one knows about this.

6.Padhyellam maari varum ,

Payanam mudinthu vidum  ,

Maruvathai purinthu kondal ,

Matakkam thelinthu vidum.

6.The path would keep on changing  ,

The journey would come to an end ,

If we understand this change  ,

Our ignorance would come to an end.
