1.Kelai  magane, kel oru varthai,

Nalaya ulagin nayagan neeye

1.Oh son hear, hear a word,

You are  the lord of tomorrow’s world.

2.Pavathai kandal  villagi vidu,

Padayai parthu nadanthu vidu,

Aapathai sandhikka thuninthu vidu ,

Azhuvathai mattum maranthu vidu,

AArathi vilakkum nadhathin oliyum,

Aalaya  maniyum  neeye neeye

2. If you see sin go away from there,

When you walk, walk after seeing the path,

Decide boldly to face danger,

Completely forget   only crying ,

You are the light of the lamp shown to god,

And the sound of musical notes,

And also the temple bell.

3.Killun kolgayil  kurangaka,

Kodumayai kandal puliyagam

Kuri vaithu parppathil kokkaga,

Gunathil yanayin vadivaga,

AAdidum maaum  aananda mayilum  ,

Pesidum kiliyum neeye  neeye

3,Become a monkey in principles  that you adopt  ,

Then you would be the deer that  is playing  ,

The joyful peacock as well as the talking parrot.

KOdai nizhalum  vadai kanalum  ,

Gopura vilakkum neeye neeye

4,What the father  gave was to mother,

And the mother only gave it  to me,

That mother    is only with me,

But her  mind is with you.

You are the shadow of summer, heat of burning ember ,

And the light  of the temple tower.
