1. Oli mayamana yethir kalam-yen,

Ullathil therigirathu –intha,

Ulagam  padum padal osai  ,

Kathil vizhugirathu.

1.A future that is filled with light,

Is being seen in my heart .

And  the sound of the song this world sings ,

Is being heard in my ears.

2.Naal vagai mathamum  narpathu  kodi,

Mantharum  varugindrar-antha,

Nayagan thanum  vanil irunthe ,

Poo mazhai  pozhigindraan.

2.Four types of religion and forty  crore peoples,

Are  comingand that  Lord,

Is sitting on the sky and showering flowers.

3,Malai  choodi  yengal chelvi,

OOrvalam varugindraal ,

Vaazhga  vaazhga  kalsi magal vaazhga,

Endravar padukindraar.

3.Wearing a garland  our daughter,

Is coming on a procession  ,

“Live , live , let the Goddess of learning long live”

4,Kumkuma chilaye  kudumbathu vilakke,

Kula magale varuga –yengal ,

KOvilil vaazhum  kaval  deivam kannagiye  varuga,

Oh  guardian goddess Kannagi   who lives,

In our temple  , please  come.

3,Mangala  chelvi  angayarkanni  ,

Thirumagale   varuga,

Vaazhum  naadum  alarum veedum,

Manam perave  Varuga.

3.Oh auspicious lady with the fish like eyes,

Oh Goddess of wealth   please come ,

The  land where we live would grow,

So please  come  so that  our house is filled with perfume.
