1. Ullathil nalla ullam,

Urangathenpathu  ,

Vallavan vaguthathadaa-karna,

Varuvathai  yethir kollada.

!,The strong hero has   told,

That  the best heart among the hearts,

Would   never sleep,

And so face   whatever is coming.

2.Thaikku nee maganillai,

Thambikku annan illai  .

Oor pazhi yethayada-Nanum,

Un pazhi kondevadaa

2.You are not the son to your mother,

You are  not elder brother  to any younger one

You have got bas name    from the people,

And I also   got the bad name from you.

3.Mannavar  paniyerkkum ,

Kannanum  pani cheyya,

Unnidam panivaanadaa-karnaa

Mannithu arulvayada.

3.The Lord Krishna who has taken the job from the king,

For doing your job  would bow before you,

Oh Karna, please pardon him and shower your grace.

4.Chenchothu kadan theerkka,

Cheratha idam chernthu  ,

Vanjathil vizhunthayada-karnaa,

Vanjakan kannanadaa

For repaying the debt of food that you have eaten,

You joined a place where you should not  ,

And fell among those   who cheat ,

Oh Karna, the the man who cheated you was lord Krishna.
