1, Ondru yengal jathiye,

Ondru yengal neethiye,

Uzjaikkum makkal yavarum ,

Oruvar petra  makkale.

1.One  is our caste ,

One  is our justice,

All those people who work hard,

Are the children  of one person.

2,Vellai manithan vervayum ,

Karuppu manithan kannerum ,

Uppu neerin vadivele,

Ondru cherum kadalile.

2.The sweat of the white man,

And the tears   of the black man,

In the form of saline water ,

Becomes  one in the ocean.

3.Aan: aadhi manithan  kallai yeduthu,

Vettayadinaan,

Adutha manithan  Kattai azhithu,

Nattai kattinaan,

Mathrum oruvan   mannil irangi,

Ponnai thedinaan.

3.Man-The primeval man took the stone and hunted,

The next man destroyed the forest   and built the country,

And another one got in to the mud   and  searched for gold.

4. Pen Nethru manithan vaanil,

Thanathu therai ottinaan,

Indru manithan  vennilavail ,

Idathai thedinaan-varum,

Nalai manithan   ezhu ulagai  ,

Aala pogiraan,

4.Lady:Yesterday  the human being,

Rode his chariot on the sky  ,

Today  human beings,

Is searching    for  a place in the moon,

And in the coming days Human beings are going ,

To Rule the seven  worlds.

5. Aan : Mannarakshi   kathu nindra,

Thengal kaikgale ,

Makkalakshi  kana cheitha,

Thengal nenjame,

Yengalakshi   yendrum aalum,

Indha mannile

5.Man It was our hands   that protected the rule of kings,

It is our mind tharmade you see  the rule of people.

When will our rule  be established in this earth?

6.Aan.Kallil veedu katti thandathu,

Yengal kaikale,

Karunai dheepam   yethri vaithathu,

Yengal nenjaame,

Illai yenpathillai  nangal,

Vaazhum naatile.

6.Man It was our hans that built a house  using stone,

It was our heart  that lit the lamp of mercy,

And in that days that we  live , There would never be a “No”.
