1. Ullam yenpathu aamai-athil,

Unmai yenpathu  oomai,

Chollil varuvathu pathi-nenjil,

Thoongi kidappathu Neethi.

1.Mind is tortoise –in that ,

The truth is  dumb one,

What you tell is half  and

What is sleeping in the heart is justice.

2.Deivam endral  athu deivam-athu,

Chilai endral   verum chilsi thaan,

Undu endral   athu undu,

Illai yendral athu illai

2.If it is considered as God it is God,

If it is considered as a statue, it is only a simple statue,

If we say it exists, it will exist,

If we say it does not exist, it does not exist.

3.Kannil varuvathu   kakshi-antha,

Kakshikku maname   sakshi,

Kakshiyai maranthana kangal –mana,

SAkshiyai   marithathu ullam.

3.What comes in the eye  is the scene –

And to that scene  only mind is the witness,

The eye forgot about that scene-

And the mind forgot the consciousness.

4.THanneer thanal pol eriyum –chen,

Thanalum   neer pol kuirum,

Nanbanum pagai pol theriyum –athu.

Natpada , natpada  puriyum.

4.Water   would burn like embersand the red,

Embers   would be as cool as water,

The Friend  will appear like enemy ,

And as time passes and passes, we will understand it.
