1. Kallellam manikka kallagumaa
Kalayellam kangal chollum kalayagumaa,
Chollellam thooya tamizh chollagumaa,
Chuvayellam idazh chindhum chuvayagumaa
1.Would all stones become Manikhya gem stone,
Would all art become
the art approved by eyes,
Would all words
become pure Tamil words,
Would all taste be same as the taste that lips drip
2. Kanmni thamizh
thanthoru thiruvachagam ,
Kallai kaniyakkum
undran vachakam,
Undendru cholvathundran ,
Kannallava –vanna kannallava
Illayendru cholvathu
undran idayallavaa,
Mnnlal idayallavaa
2. The youthful Tamil gave rise to Thiruvachagam
Your sentances would make
stones in to fruit,
Is not your eyes that tell , it is there-the colourfull
eyes,
Is is not your waist that
says no, the lightning like waist.
3.Kamban kanda seethai un thayallavaa,
Kalidasan sakunthalai
un cheyallava
Ambikapathi anaitha Amaravathi ,
Mangai Amaravathi
chendra piragu ,
Pavalarkku neeye gathi.
3,Is not the Sita found by Kamban your mother,
Is not Shakunthala of Kalidasa your daughter,
That Amaravathi embraced by Ambikapathi.
After Amaravathi went away
,
To the grea poets
you are
the only aim.
