1. Kannan piranthathum chiraichalai-antha,

Gandhi irundathum chiraichalai,

Chiraichalai oru kalloori-chendru,

Thirumbiayavan   oru Gurunadhan.

1,Lord Krishna was born inside a prison –and that,

Mahathma Gandhi   lived  also in a prison,

The prison is a college-he who went in to it,

And returned  is a great teacher.

2.Purakshiyai thanthathum  chiraichalai-pala,

Puthagam piranthathum  chiraichalai  ,

Iruttilirunthu  velichathirkku vara ,

Iraivan padaithathu, chiraichalai.
