1. Pattathellam poruma  , pattinathare-antha,

Paramanayum   vaaza vaikka sakthi vanthale-un,

AAnavam   yenge   , veeram ponathu yenge,

Aaravaaram kopam yellam adangiyathu  yenge.

1.Is the  sufferings undergone sufficient, oh man of the town,

Even to ake Lord Shiva   live   the  goddess  had come,

Where  is  your pride, where has your valour gone,

Where  did all the  sound making and anger  get buried?

2.Suthi izhantha ragathile   sukham irukkathu  -nalla,

Sondham konjam vilaki   nindral uravu irukkathu,

Irandum ketta nilayile   anbirukkathu-antha,

Idai veliyil  valarntha pillai  ozhungu perathu-un,

AAnavam   yenge   , veeram ponathu yenge,

Aaravaaram kopam yellam adangiyathu  yenge.

2.Without proper pitch  , the tune would not be p[leasant,

If good relation stands distant  , there would not be relations  ,

When both are in bad state  , there would not be love  ,

And the child brought   up in the interval   would not be  proper,

Where  is  your pride, where has your valour gone,

Where  did all the  sound making and anger  get buried?

3.Adikka ondru, anaikka ondru   illarathile –ingu,

Avai irandum   pirinthathu thaan intha  nilayile  ,

Kudithanathile thavaru vanthaal   thiruthi kollalam-nam,

Kudumbathaye  pirithu kondal   kinathil veezhalaam  -un,

AAnavam   yenge   , veeram ponathu yenge,

Aaravaaram kopam yellam adangiyathu  yenge.

3,IN the family life , one to punish and one to hug,

And here  they both have broken apart  in this state ,

If  a mistake occurs in the household, it can be corrected,

But if family itself is separated, we have to fall in well,

Where  is  your pride, where has your valour gone,

Where  did all the  sound making and anger  get buried?

4. Rathham ulla kalathile   budhi maruthu  -antha,

BUdhi ketta piragu   thane ratham pesuthu,

SAkthiyodu shivanai chertha thathuvam  -nalla,

Dampathikal vaazhvatharkku  or Dharma thathuvam,

Huh huh Ha ha.. ha ha…-un,

AAnavam   yenge   , veeram ponathu yenge,

Aaravaaram kopam yellam adangiyathu  yenge.

4. When you have blood  , the thought  changes  -and when,

The thought   is spoiled, then the blood starts   talking,

The philosophy that  merged Shiva and Shakthi,

Is a philosophy of Dharma  for couples to live ,

Ha ha ha ha  ha ha,
