1. Palooti valartha kili,

Pazham koduthu  partha kili,

Naan valartha pachai kili  ,

Nalaivarum kacherikku,

Chellamma endhan chellamma

1.The parrot which I grew by offering milk,

The parrot which I saw after  feeding the fruits ,

That green parrot   which I brought up  ,

Would come    to the court tomorrow,

Darling  my darling.

2.Chattamum naan uraithen  ,

Dairiyamum naan koduthen  ,

Pattam mattum vangi vandhu ,

Painthu chella paakuthadi ,

Chellamma endhan chellamma

2. I taught     him law,

3,Neethikke thuninthu nindren,

Ninathathu yellam jayithu vandhen,

4.Is this a test by the God,

 Whose  teaching is this ,

He has got in to the fire  ,

He would come back and salute my feet,
