1. Mayakkama, kalakkama,

Manathile kuzhappamma,

Vaazkkayil  nadukkama?

1.Is it stupor , Is it  confusion ,

Is it worries   in the mind ,

Is it shivering in the life?

2.Vazhkkai yendral aayiram irukkum ,

Vasal thorum vedanai irukkum  ,

Vandha thunbam yethuvendralum ,

Vaadi nindral oduvathillai  ,

Yethaym thangum idhayam irunthal  ,

Iruthi varikkum amaithi irukkum.

2.If it a life thousand matters would be there  ,

In every door step there   would be pain,

Which sorrow has come  ,

Would not run away , if we stand faded,

If we have a mind which can bear  anything  ,

Till the end there   would be peace .

3.Yezhai manathai malikayakki  ,

Iravum pagalum kaviyam paadi  ,

Nalai pozhuthai  iraivanukku alithu  ,

Nadakkum vaazvil amaithiyai thedu,

Unakkum keeze ullavar   kodi,

Ninaithu paarthu nimmathi thedu.

3. Making a mansion out of the mind of the poor,

Sing great  poetic saga day and night,

Giving away tomorrow’s time   to God  ,

Search for peace in the life that  you lead ,

There are crores of  people inferior to you,

Think about this and   search for peace.
