Pothayile nee nadanthaal  oore  Marum.

1.If your legs walk on the road  you would reach your village,

If you walk under influence of alcohol  , the  village would  change

Kaladi chuvadugal kooda  varaathi  ,

Nallavar yendru ooraar chollum ,

Pugazhum   bodhai allavaa,

Nadathayai  kondu  ,

Madhippathi kandu  ,

Vaazhvathu vaazkkai allavaa ,

Innum naan chollavaa?

2,. The times   would not wait for you  ,

Your steps of feet would not come with you,

The words of people that you are good  ,

Is also an intoxication of fame?

 Is not the life, Seeing your behavior,

Watching the peoples respect to you, a life?

Should I tell   something more?

3. Pazhuguvathellam  pazhagiya pinne  ,

AZhubavan kozhai allavvaa?

Ninaippathum  neeye, nadappathum neeye,

Nenje sakshiyallavaa  ,

Innum naan chollavaa?

3. After   praising all sort of praises ,

Is not the one who cries , a coward?

You are the one who thinks , you are the one who acts  ,

Is not the mind a witness to this?

Shall I tell    further?

4.AAdaikal veru, jadaigal very,

Penmai ondarallavvaa,

Kinnangal veru, vannangal veru  ,

Bodhai ondrallavaa ,

Innum naan chollavaa

4,.The dresses are different, the signs shows are different,

But is not feminine nature one?

The plates are different, their colours are different,

But is not the intoxication the same  ,
