1Aattuvithal  yaroruvar aadathare  -Kanna,

Asayenum thottilile   -kanna

1.Who does not rock if some one  rocks them –Krishna,

In the cradle  called desire-Krishna

2,Nee nadathum nadakathil naanum undu –yen,

Nizhalil  kooda anubhavathin sokam undu

2,In  the drama that you produce  , I am also there,

And even in the shadow, there is sorrow  of experience.

3,Pagaivaragalai naanum velven arivinale-anal,

Nanbanidam  thothu vitten pasathinale  ,

3.I also would win over my enemies by my wisdom,

And I  have been defeated  by the fiend , due  to love,

4,Panchali unnidathil  chelai  kettal –antha,

4.Panchali asked  a Sari from you  and that,

Arjuna asked Bhagawath gita from you

5,Nanirukkum  nilayil  unnai yenna ketpen –innum,

5.At my present state   what would I ask from you,

I would ask  for doing more good  to others and get back sorrow  to me,

6,Kadal alavu kidaithalum  mayanga maaten –athu,

Kayyalave  aanalum kalanga  matten.

6.Even if I get    as much as the sea , I would not be bothered,

And even if it is only like a palm, I would not get disturbed.

7,Ullathile   ullathu thaan  ulagam kanna   -ithai,

Unarnthu konden   , thunbamellam vilagum kanna
